     This my personal website about me and my family. It may not interest everyone, but there are some who would like to keep tabs on me. This site is for them.
     Just a wee bit about myself: I was born and raised in a small town in the southern portion of Illinois known as 'Dongola'. I left at the age of 19 in 1965 to join the Navy. I spent 5 years aboard destroyers (USS Leary, DD879 and USS William C. Lawe, DD763), mainly in Mayport, FL. Once I got out, I worked in a variety of jobs in Florida, Arkansas, and Tennessee. I moved to Tennessee in 1976 and fell in love with the climate, country, and the people. I guess I'll die here. I now reside in Chattanooga - a great city!
     I am happily married (one and only) with three grown daughters and a housefull of grandkids! (But more on them later.)
